Conventional wisdom and reality TV tell us spring is the best time. But that's a bit oversimplified. For example, winter home buyers can be more motivated and have less to choose from. For some sellers, winter is a good time to be on the market. Think of it as rush hour. Is there really any advantage by driving on the freeway at the same time as everyone else?
Of course, it's best to avoid heavy holiday seasons. There really isn't much activity around Thanksgiving and Christmas, for example. But those who are "in the market" and buying/selling during holidays are generally very serious.
I never liked "being sold by a salesperson". I believe in long term, sustainable growth by just taking good care of people. The key is to listen instead of trying to tell people what they want. Once I fully understand what your goals and life choices are, I can help guide you through the process of home buying and selling by helping you with the things you care about most. It really is that simple.
